Since January 1, 2018 due to the decision of the Public
Utilities Commission Board No. 1/19, with an outgoing call
Balticom telephony subscribers will receive a voice
notification about the price per minute to the number
being dialed, if the price per minute exceeds
€ 0.0298 without value added tax. To apply for a
voice notification or to refuse one, send a free

How much does the service connection cost?
By choosing telephony along with the Internet or
television the connection will be completely
free. The connection will cost 20 euros, if you
choose the telephony by itself. We provide
discounts for seniors and people with
disabilities.
Can I keep my current phone number?
Yes, you can become a Balticom client and save
your number. Transfer from another operator may
take up to 14 days. If you haven’t been using
your fixed number from another operator for a
long time, then additional clarification is
required. Either way we will be able to provide
you with a neat looking new number.
What is needed to connect the service?
For connection you need a landline phone or a
smartphone to use the necessary applications. You
can rent the stationary device from AS Balticom.
Is it possible to use cables that
are already set in the apartment?
During telephony installation our master
will check whether existing cables can be
used. If not, the master will pull a new
cable for free.
How can I find out the exact cost of calling abroad?
Use the verification form for more details on call
charges: enter any phone number in the box and press
the “Verify” button. You will see information about
the country of a subscriber, the network and the
calling cost per minute.
What does a call connection fee mean?
This is the amount that will be charged in case of
a successful connection between you and the called
number.
What is the difference between the “Advantageous”
and the “Free call” tariffs?
Both tariffs offer the best prices for calls
abroad. The “Advantageous” tariff has a low
subscription fee and the lowest prices for
calls in Latvia. The tariff is perfect for
those who communicate rarely and don’t want
to overpay. The “Independent” tariff allows
you to make calls to the popular Latvian
networks without any restrictions. This is a
good choice for those who communicate often
and don't want to count minutes.
What is a safety limit and how does it work?
A special program will restrict your calls
when reaching a certain invoice amount. You
can choose the limit yourself and be sure
that you will not receive a huge bill.
What is a monthly fee and how much will I pay in the end?
Subscription fee is a monthly fee for using the
service according to the selected tariff.
Invoice consists of a monthly fee and the amount
for outgoing calls made in charging destinations.
